Poems
Walking Through the Darkest Valley
Walking through the valley of the shadow of death
Gasping for air, my breath fading away
Praying to God don’t let this be that day
I have dreams I have not yet fulfilled
Ain’t trying to go out like a fish without water, that’s the real deal
Suddenly I hear a voice that said child do not fear
Down my right cheek here comes a tear
Not afraid of dying, so I gotta remain strong
Never never in the past has God do me wrong
He said face everything because I will fight this battle for you
Facing death face to face, believe me, to me is nothing new
Thanks to the almighty and friends and family love
God loving me unconditionally cause that what he does
I’m a survivor that’s what I do survive
Extremely grateful to our good lord for keeping me alive
Live the life you love and love the life you live
Tons of love and health for family and friends
Is my wish for you all, this poem has come to an end.
Hennessey
The bottle on the shelf belongs to me
And no one else
It’s my security, it’s always there for me, this is the way I live
A good feeling this bottle gives.
I feel good inside this bottle makes me feel so alive
This bottle is big and brown
Making me feel good as it goes down
This bottle means the world to me
It’s filled with the good taste of Hennessy
This bottle is controlling my thinking
Because I love the Hennessy I'm drinking
I cannot believe some of the things that come out my face
Because I let this bottle run the race
Lord take this bottle from me
Come into my life and set me free
Please come and live in me
Take this bottle and give me victory
Help me to stop the juice I'm drinking
And pay attention to the words I'm thinking
Help me be reborn again
Cause from here to the end
My Lord is my helping hand
